Units in the western Sydney district of Parramatta have seen strong growth values over the past 12 to 18 months, with estimates the local unit market has increased 12% in the past year, according to Herron Todd White.
Herron Todd White’s September Month in Review found up until now demand has outstripped supply due to many developments selling out before completion with the trend set to continue.
The report noted entry level for 2-bedroom units in Parramatta is around $450,000 for an older walk up with modern 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom units in a medium to high-rise complex are available for between $600,000 to $700,000. Penthouses and larger three bedroom units go for between $850,000 to $1,200,000.
